Shopping
Buying our good food is very simple. Just browse our website using the Navigation to the left of each page. When you have found a product that you wish to order, just add it to your shopping basket by clicking the "Add to Basket" button. You can view your basket at any time by clicking the round green shopping basket button near the top left of your page.
Purchasing & Payment
Once you have completed your shopping, proceed to the checkout by clicking the round green shopping basket button near the top left of your page. You will then be asked for a few details that we need to complete your order request.
We will confirm your delivery dates within one working day.
We accept all major credit & debit cards for payment.
Payment is not taken until we have confirmed that the goods on order are in stock, have been allocated to your order and are ready to ship.
Back Orders
If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed or phoned with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait. Payment is not taken for back ordered goods until they are in stock and are ready to ship.
Shipping And Handling
For shopping under £50, a flat rate postage and packaging charge of £15 is made. Delivery is free for orders over £50 regardless of order size.
All deliveries are made by courier and do not require a signature on receipt. We will always ask for a delivery arrangement to suit you once you have placed an order.
All orders come well packaged and with cool packs effective for up to 24 hours, if products need to be kept chilled.
Delivery Schedule
Each product has a maximum delivery time clearly noted. Once an order (or before if you contact us) has been received, we will confirm when the next delivery date is. Goods are not dispatched until full payment has been received.
Goods are dispatched within the UK mainland via courier and will arrive the day after dispatch.
Credit Card Security
We know of no documented cases of credit card fraud using our shopping system over the Internet. All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.
Busby Market have adopted a 128 bit Safer key, which gives a reasonable performance whilst being several orders of magnitude beyond where brute force methods could break the encryption. SSL offers only a 40-bit key in non-US implementations (although 56 bit key implementations are now becoming available). To put things in context, each additional bit of key space takes twice as long to break. So a 41 bit key is twice as strong as a 40 bit key. The 128 bit key used in Actinic Catalog is 4,722,366,482,869,645,213,696 times as strong as the SSL 56 bit key.
